The Australian Bureau of Meteorology has been caught red-handed manipulating temperature data to show "global warming" where none actually exists.At Amberley, Queensland, for example, the data at a weather station showing 1 degree Celsius cooling per century was "homogenized" (adjusted) by the Bureau so that it instead showed a 2.5 degrees warming per century.
At Rutherglen, Victoria, a cooling trend of -0.35 degrees C per century was magically transformed at the stroke of an Australian meteorologist's pen into a warming trend of 1.73 degrees C per century.
Last year, the Australian Bureau of Meteorology made headlines in the liberal media by claiming that 2013 was Australia's hottest year on record. This prompted Australia's alarmist-in-chief Tim Flannery - an English literature graduate who later went on to earn his scientific credentials with a PhD in palaeontology, digging up ancient kangaroo bones - to observe that global warming in Australia was "like climate change on steroids."
But we now know, thanks to research by Australian scientist Jennifer Marohasy, that the hysteria this story generated was based on fabrications and lies.
Though the Bureau of Meteorology has insisted its data adjustments are "robust", it has been unable to come up with a credible explanation as to why it translated real-world data showing a cooling trend into homogenized data showing a warming trend.

I love how someone gets this wild idea in their head, they use bad science to convince others of the "truth" and then it becomes "reality" for the rest of us. Resist believing because you're actually looking at ALL of the evidence (pro & con), and you're discredited (after all, these are expert scientists spewing this information and what are you anyway?)

When did theories become "fact"? Um, Hello! They call it a theory because is can't be proven which means there isn't enough evidence to claim it as fact. Unfortunately, too often, there isn't enough evidence to solidly disprove these theories either.

Global Warming was disproved sufficiently enough that (most) people stopped believing in it. So, the approach had to be adjusted to push this crappy agenda. "Global Warming" was rebranded "Climate Change". Unfortunately, those pushing this agenda are still using the same flawed science. The crappy science just doesn't hold up so what do they do? They flat out lie, manipulate and generate data which agrees with their bogus beliefs.

Is their real "climate change"? Yep, and there has been major fluctuations up & down in our climate since the planet was formed. Are we so arrogant to believe that we can change that? If we've actually set the climate on an upward temperature trend do we really think the minor efforts we make (at tremendous costs - particularly to individual citizens) will make a noticeable difference? Arrogance!

What really sucks is that nearly everyone is biased these days and true objective scientific analysis is near impossible to believe in.

Um yeah, any economic data presented by the government is crap.

True science allows the true facts to lead the scientists to a conclusion. Anthropogenic global warming research is not science, AGW is manufactured "data" to fit a pre-determined conclusion.
