Absolutely did NOT like this man. He was at a convention in the Boston area that I was also attending (I was with a group raising money for childrens cancer research). He was charging $25 for an autograph - but ONLY if you also bought one of this photos from him for another $25. Even so, the line for his autograph constantly had 100+ people in it.

Seveal of my friends, my wife, son and I were in the restaurant/bar of the hotel where the convention was being held. Carradine walks in front of me - just inches away and sits down on the stool 2 feet from where I was standing and right next to one of my friends. Carradine refused to acknowledge us at all (not so much as a nod). We respected his privacy by not bothering him. After finishing his second drink, he gets up, slaps my friend on the shoulder and says "Thanks for getting that" and walks away.
The bartender called after him to pay for his drinks. Carradine then said "My friends will get it" and pointed to my group. We all just shrugged and shook our heads NO. He whipped out his wallet, threw a $20 on the bar, and (in a nasty tone of voice) yelled "You bunch of cheap bastards".

Not a nice man.
