I look at celebrities passing the same way as I do for any random person I don't know.

I don't get the celebrity worship in the country. You don't know them, they sure as hell don't care what you think about. You have no tangible relationship with them. They are just moving pictures on the TV or movie screen. Nothing more, nothing less.

I didn't like her TV persona but her standup was good stuff. She broke with the comics of the day and did her own thing.

She was funny. I appreciated that she made fun of all equally and wasn't a total liberal. I like comedy, but it gets old listening to propaganda disguised as jokes.
