Unsuccessful again

Dang 3 years in a row unsuccessful for deer. I put in for a PP 1st choice then areas that have 0-2 PP. Although I did get my elk tag.

Now 7 points for deer and 4 for elk.
By the way the area I am trying to draw for, these are both female too.
Buck/bulls require 15 points to get drawn there.

I used to get drawn in the same area for the last 25 years about every 2 years.
I guess my secret is out.

Can't get info for what ever reason. Keeps telling me try again or contact admin.....? Probably didn't get it anyways. I hate hunting with these rules and or regs. Too many people come here so I know its needed but damn!

I now have 10pp for elk and 0pp for deer. I HAD 3pp for deer, but drew out in unit 80. First time I'll be able to hunt deer since 2001. I drew out for deer in 2005 but I was un-employed and my wife asked that I sell it back to the DOW for the $.

Are deer tags scarce? Several people I am hunting with this year all put in for deer tags as well as elk. We all got elk tags and no one got deer tags. I don't usually pull a deer tag, but last time we were up there we saw a ton of deer and didn't get an elk.

Left over is coming up I think (Early July?). I got two tags last year in the left over. Buck and doe. Only filled the doe. I think if you look on there sight (DOW) they should have a page that tells how many tags are available for any given unit and what sex they are. I wish I could link you but you should be able to find it.
