Default Another Carry the Fallen ruck today

So back in June some of you may remember my thread about doing a carry the fallen ruck for 27.9 miles in Colorado Springs. We'll today is our second one this year and we're doing 10 miles this time.

Around 0730 or 0800 we will be stepping off from the Danny Dietz memorial in Littleton (king&berry), and walking from there to Littleton blvd, arapahoe and broadway and then back. So if you see two guys with packs and a flag, stop by and say hi!

    You the man, man!!

Wish there is more that I can do than just leave a silly emoticon on an Internet forum about it.

We appreciate the support! It was an awesome ruck this morning. Doing it in my old jungle boots made me remember that I should have put some new insoles in them. Ten miles in 2:45 minutes.

I've subscribed to this thread so I can look it up when I move back to CO (sometime in the very near future) and join you on the next one.

Then again maybe I'll just cheer you on. I don't think I can keep up at a 16.5 second / mile pace.

We were doing it in conjunction with my friends wife and 7 of her soldiers in Kuwait and we wanted to beat their time of 2:57 in the 90 degree heat. Looking at another hard date in November so it'll be chilly but should be fun!

    I can easily do 10 miles in 2hrs 45min. I can't do 10 miles in 2min 45sec...

Ahhhh shit. I see what you did there. I'll start thinking of a route! The one we did today wasn't bad at all.
