lol... I used to work down the street at the Sourdough Mining Co. restaurant... was a delivery driver at one time.. and some girls would order food from there... the bouncers were nice enough to let a 17-year old stand inside when the girl who ordered was on stage, at least in the winter...

CISPRI = Cook Inlet Spill Prevention Response Inc,,Kenai Pennisula ,,mostly Nikiski..

But our travels were up to Anchorage quite alot,,seem to remember Sourdough Mining.
Just don't get off ship at high tide and expect a short hop down to deck during low tide..

Oh and go down to Homer,,dig clams at low tide,,and watch the Eagles..

My father worked for Alyeska Pipeline for 18 years as a Systems analyst out of Anchorage and Fairbanks.. I graduated from Dimond high school in Anchorage, then left to go to College in Phoenix.

ya, the tide swings are huge in cook inlet... my boating experience was out of either Seward or Whittier... They've banned public feeding the Eagles in Homer- so not sure it will be anything like it used to be... this may be the last season for that- the "Eagle lady" is allowed to feed thru July, IIRC

and KellyTTE: Congrats! you've got a good woman if she's up for an Alaskan honeymoon.. I took my wife there not too long after we were married, but didn't get credit for a "honeymoon" from the trip.. even though she saw Humpback whales within 150 ft, Eagles, Dolphins, Seals, Sea Lions, Otters, Denali (Mt McKinley), glaciers, Moose, and countless other things that are hard to find anywhere else..

so much to see/do up there, it's hard to suggest something, unless there's something in particular you "must" see, I could maybe direct a good place for it.. Most of my outdoors experience is on the water, Resurrection bay and Prince William Sound.

Newlyweds. Wonderful news. Enjoy yourselves and start the marriage off on the right track.

Did you get her an AR for a wedding gift?

She has a DDM4 on order.

Thanks for the kind words guys. No strip clubs (I don't do those, never really have). We're in Seward at the moment, things are pretty good, but we miss home too. Keep ya posted.
