I miss food with gluten. Im not sure if this is a food only thread, but I miss the Reagan era, the 80s, and cassette tapes.
As far as things like In-n-Out... My mind can't get past the fact they're from over the 'wall.. so they taste like 'jit to me now
I miss REAL seafood... like Sea Bass you caught just minutes to hours ago, and cleaned it yourself before cooking it right there on the boat.. Halibut bigger than your children (210# was the biggest I helped haul in person, and 180# I hauled in myself when I weighed like 140#)
I see the enjoyment my kids get out of fishing here, and if they ONLY knew what real fishing was...
Went camping this last weekend with a group of 1st-world-campers.. (you know what I mean unless you are one) and they were impressed by a Rainbow trout that was maybe 4#... I get that maybe the excitement was for the kids, and I played along... but that was lame.

ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ, we are the III%, CIP2, and some other catchphrase meant to aggravate progreSSives who are hell bent on taking rights away...
Definately NOT food only... I miss how a president could get a VAST majority of the population to feel EMPOWERED and like they could DO ANYTHING if we only EMBRACED INDIVIDUALITY, rather than the opposite we have now. (and yet has claimed to idolize Reagan)
To this day, I think he only admired how well Reagan was adored- if only he could get people to adore him like that, THEN he would be happy...
