I miss my Rem 700 .30-06. An oldie but the best bolt rifle I ever owned. Had to sell it when times were tough. I always keep an eye out at gun shops and gun shows to see if it shows up. It was mine and unless the new owner made big changes, I will know it if I see it.

I miss my parents too, may they rest in peace.

I miss women that actually dressed to look nice. Didn't have to be beautiful, just put a bit of fucking effort in. I'm so tired of sweatpants and uggs. Pajamas are not ok outside of the house unless your getting mail or milk.

I hear ya, how fuckin hard is it to actually put some clothes on. A woman will spend 30-40 min getting ready for a date or dinner engagement. Yet wear their blood spotted pj's out for a $6 latte.

Snapple Rain, specifically the clear Rain flavor. Tasted unique. I sometimes have flavor flashbacks. Unfortunately, they simply don't make it anymore : (

Information on the net is sketchy as to whether this is still available; it seems that Snapple started bottling Rain in aluminum cans, which completely screwed up the delicate flavor.

With a little experimentation, you might be able to mock some up in your kitchen, if you have a sodastream.

The ingredients are:
Water, Corn Syrup High Fructose, Citric Acid, Flavoring Natural, Flavors Natural Prickly Pear Cactus, Grapes Juice White, Agave Nectar, Astragalus Extract, Ginseng Extract, Pears Prickly Cactus Puree

It seems to me that you could locate the ingredients at Walmart: citric acid is in the canning section, white grape juice and agave is in grocery, astragalus and ginseng is in pharmacy. If they carry prickly pear, it's in grocery. If not, you'd likely find it at a store that carries Hispanic foods.

It's something to think about, if nothing else.

You can get loco moco at L&L's on Powers & Barnes in Colo Spgs. The Asia-Pacific Market on Platte & Wooten has S&S saimin in the frozen food section.

What I miss from Hawai`i Nei are fresh mangos and papaya right off the tree (well, usually picked 2-3 days before perfect ripeness to stay ahead of the dang birds) and Wahiawa pineapple picked perfectly ripe off the plant the day I took it home (one of the perks working at Dole -- we knew what fields had the lowest acid and highest sugar contents, I could order a case of 5 or 6 pines for $8 and ask to pickers to have put ones in the case that would be ready now, in 2 days, 4 days ...).
