Awesome! As a few others have said, numbers aren't super important - Go until you really love the way you look and feel again!

The biggest change you can make is in what you eat. My wife is a personal trainer with a background in nutrition. If you don't eat right, you're wasting an awful lot of effort and money, but if you eat good portions of healthy and natural foods, you can go as far as you want to. We have a close friend who had the surgery 3 years ago. She went from 340 to ~150 (she's 5'11") and now she owns and operates a 24hr fitness gym in New Orleans. She just turned 50 last year. She stands on her soapbox all day long making it clear that we are the only thing limiting ourselves. Sometimes it takes something drastic like the surgery to jumpstart you, but then the ball is in your court and it's totally up to you how the game turns out. Keep it up, man!

It's hard for me to lose the 10-15 lbs I'd like to. I can't imagine 100 lbs. You guys are awesome! Keep it up!

Update - weight loss has slowed to a trickle, as they said it would, but is still going down. Current total is 135 lbs. gone (what my wife weighs, but SHE isn't gone), and I'm at 197. I can't even tell ya what decade it was when I was last under 200 lbs!

Kick ass! Keep it up! Pretty crazy to think that you were basically carrying around an extra person on you.

What really drove it home was going to work for Home Depot last June. I looked at the 50lb bags of sand and Quikrete, picked one up, and realized that I basically had THREE of those permanently attached to me! Everywhere I went, everything I did, every moment of my life, I had the weight of three 50lb bags of concrete mix hanging on me.

It was all I could do to pick ONE bag up, picking up three was out of the question. Yet I was carrying THREE of the fuckers 24/7/365. No wonder I have back, knee and foot problems. It was time for it to go. Got 15 left for that goal, and probably a little more after that.

Yeah, it's a big change. Sometimes change is good! I'm diggin' it. Wife doesn't want me to get any smaller than I am now, but that's TFB. I'm not doing this for her.
