Default BFG All Terrain T/KO... 2

They are here! It only took 12 years since they released the first gen. And the new ones are less then the old ones per tire! I have my next set of tires picked out.

I was excited until I looked at the size selection. Hopefully they expand it soon. Not many choices

I couldn't spin my tires free if I had a gun to my head.

They only have one size in a 17" wheel and I need a little bigger. Been a big fan of the BFG AT though.

If you are a fan of the old design, then the KO2 may be a good choice for you. With that said, they did nothing to update the most important part of the tire (the tread). Some swear by the design, some do not. I enjoyed the original KO's well enough, but think I'll stick to my Duratracs.

I think it's a good all around tire (for me anyway). Not the best for all situations but a good compromise. My biggest beef with most of the Goodyears and they wear so fast. How are your Duratracs doing?

Actually they did change quite a bit with the tread. Nothing drastic, but there are there. I have the Duratracs on the cruiser and they are allright. TKO2 with longer treadlife, better compound, higher sidewall rupture resistance are going to be very nice. Especially since they are less money.

Granted I have only seen pics, but from what I could tell, all they changed was the sidewalls, beyond that the rest of it looks the same.
