Is going to suck....
Girlfriend wants me to attend some dinner party for her company. I slept like shit and also have to work tonight at midnight.
Anyone wanna take my place at the party? Professional attire is required. Beef tenderloin is the entrée.
Hell, if you and the woman hit it off you can even keep her. I won't mind.

Sorry, it's my 1 year wedding anniversary today and I doubt my wife wants me going anywhere with another woman. Got a reservation at Summit for a nice steak anyway.
I understand.... That sounds wonderful. A nice dinner and night out with someone you love.... I wonder what that's like....
