    Default Tax returns and ACA

I've discussed with some of you the card up the sleeve of IRS & .gov. When one files their 14 taxes, I felt the IRS is going to say, OOPS due to a glitch with the on line ACA system when you applied for healthcare, you will not be receiving a refund.
Also due to the miscalculations of the on line web site, not only is there no refund, BUT we have moved you to a different plan , now costing you $600+ per month. Sincerely the IRS

I understand how one can guesstimate their income based on new employment. OR work the numbers to get a lower premium The entire ACA oversight by the IRS is only the beginning. Of what who knows, Hope & Change ?

It might feel like a raw deal for some who are already suffocating under the escalating costs of health insurance."Health insurance is confusing enough, and now they're adding the complexities of the Tax Code," said Lorena Bencsik, a member of the Michigan Association of CPAs and owner of Prime Numbers in Ferndale.

Sadly, it's fair to say some people will see some unexpected, unpleasant surprises on their tax returns next year.

That sounds a bit far-fetched. The "refund" that politicians use to buy votes from the Obamacare demographic is not the same as the refund that comes from withholding exceeding tax owed. No way they are going to mess with the former approaching a big election.

I do expect that Box 12, code DD "cost of employer-sponsored health coverage" will be taxed as income very soon.

No doubt on income, IMO, they will go after the usual BS 1% in 14, because they are ignored by most of America, except those of us who work. We've already accepted a no refund this year.

2015 expect full tilt NO REFUND notices going out. The FSA isn't bothered, since they are not taxed, so the D voter base is intact. By then the R's will be in complete melt down trying to figure out which of the candidates they should anoint for 16 presidential hopeful.

...and the ACA was supposed to control costs and make healthcare more affordable.

Anybody that buys that doesn't understand government.

Those people getting subsidies for their exchange policies are the ones potentially affected. Given the massive error rate of the exchanges, the nonexistent backend systems that still don't exist, and the general utter incompetent of the Obama administration .... it will be a complete fuck up.

Bloody hell, a complete cockup. Anyone who didn't see this coming.....................

I'm still waiting to see if my company throws us on the exchange or what, we're supposed to be told in October.
