My neighbor sucks at life

I can sympathize with you. I live in a condo...bottom floor. Upstars from me are new renters. They are up at 5 and 6am stomping around and banging things. They stay up till 2am still banging and stomping around. They had an argument the other night from 2:00 to 2:45am yelling and cussing. Their patio is above my front door...they throw all their garbage off it including wads of chewing tobacco. The other weekend they tossed 3 potted plants off...I say tossed as one ended up about 30ft away. They let their dogs out to do their business without a leash and I had one come at me. They had a wild party there the other night including a fellow who was so drunk he couldn't tell the difference between a police car and the taxi that had been called to take him home....

YET...they call the cops on me if I have a movie playing at 9pm on a friday evening...and no I was not ticketed or even given a warning. The officer asked that I turn it down since the neighbor had complained.

I'd like to know how you train a dog to only bark 15 minutes...once.

Personally- I hate other people's dogs. I have cats, they are quiet, soft, they purr and cause no neighborhood issues. I also don't have to get up at godawful hours in the winter to walk the sonsofbitches. Yet everywhere I live I am surrounded on all sides by other people's stupid effing barking dogs. Why the hell does anyone need 3 or more dogs? Just now- at 6:35am, my neighbor's 3 effing dogs went crazy fighting each other. Just another day in Dogseverywhereville.

One of our pups thinks EVERYTHING is a reason to bark. Show her the coller, that's a good 30-40 min of quiet. Squirrels in trees or fence, they don't give it a rest, collar. One of those days she goes off (like most females) COLLAR. They are pets but they should be obedient pets. We collar her when a new dog comes over or lots of kids. Them church kids use to torment the pups , til we had words with them. Still kids running up and down the fence, or using the sidewalk, There's no need to be yapping all the time.
BARK. buzz / shock. That's the end of barking for most of the day.

The OP has some valid concerns, however 2 sides to the story. Minimize the issues your dogs possibly present. Minizimizes neighbor issues, hopefully.
