Meh, I support the Muslims on this one. Not all Muslims are terrorists and there's no reason they should be harassed by PETA. I do find it ironic that Eid celebrates an Israeli patriarch and sacrifice ... maybe the more militant Muslims should think about that one.

Brings up an interesting point:

Ismael was the son of Abram (Abraham) and his wife's (Sarai's) slave, Agar. He is the ancestor of Muhammad.
Isaac was the son of Abraham and his wife, Sara. He is the ancestor of Jesus.

The Quran (Muhammad 610 AD) states that Abraham was to sacrifice Ismail (The reason behind Islam's celebration of Eid al-Adha meaning "Festival of the sacrifice")
While the Bible (Moses ~1445 BC) states that Abraham was to sacrifice Isaac.

And so it began:

Genesis 16:11,12 (DRA)
And again: Behold, said he, thou art with child, and thou shalt bring forth a son: and thou shalt call his name Ismael, because the Lord hath heard thy affliction.
