You bring up an interesting point. If it has a mag with more than 15 rounds what do you do about the magazine? Much like if you wanted to lend out a G17 and all you had was 17 rounders. You could legally transfer the gun, not the mags. I found a pistol once in Five Points and called the man. I was told guns are not finders keepers. Seems even after a wait the man gets to keep it. You'd be better off finding cash.
