    Default Public landfill near Longmont?

Where is a county dump or other landfill that will accept a trailer load of roofing materials, about 2000 lbs? Any good guess of what it would cost?

Any landfills from Longmont to Loveland, Boulder to Golden, or points east?

Thanks for the link, Def90. The reason I was looking for a landfill was cost. Many of the area transfer stations won't take roofing materials, and those that do charge $143/ton. I might have had up to two ton which could have cost $286 for a trailer load of trash.

It's not easy to find info about it but the Denver Regional Landfill at 1441 Weld County Road 6 is an alternative. It cost me the minimum rate of $73 to dump. Still not cheap but the covered dump area made it worth it when it was raining heavily yesterday afternoon.

Don't you just love the democrat policy of trying to decrease consumption by artificially inflating the cost of disposal? In Mesa County it would have cost me $20 to dump the load. In GJ, they want people to dispose of their trash, and even sponsor two free dump days a year.

Well... The price of land in Grand Junction is a fraction of what it is here as well.

Longmont's gone up town respectable the last few years. Even stabbings are required to be done in specific areas. Possibly the same area you were in to dump stuff.

Larimer County has a landfill as well, not sure of the cost there though.
