Crazy weather just blew through here. Sideways rain, hail, buckets of water, very strong winds!

Reports of golf ball size hail in/around the Highlands Ranch area. Nothing in my part of Castle Rock besides rain.

Am racing the storm to the house. For some reason I just have to be there when the tornado lands on it.

Hit rain sprinkles in Nederland and here and there all the way back to Lone Tree. Got home, and 10 minutes later it starts pouring.

Just got home and noticed we left the Windows open . My girls beds are soaked and I had to pull out the mop for the main floor. At least no tornado or hail. Got to look at the bright side of things

Holy moly, according to NOAA radar it hit us right on the dot. First wave passed, just heavy rain now. Can see another off to the west. Hope it goes north or south. Most intense since the baseball hail storm of 2010, worse than the near misses by tornado earlier this year. Wind was hard enough that I moved away from the window I was watching from. Really worried for a while we were gonna lose deck roof. Luckily just pea sized hail.

70 mph wind on the open prairie is unnerving.

Will post pics and video later.
