Default Some of you may remember that Jeep rollover on Black Bear a few weeks back...

So they were videotaping inside the jeep. Check out the video.
We all make mistakes, so I wouldn't want to fault the driver, but you can clearly see what happened. I feel for the guy.

If you are not familiar with the trail or have not seen the pictures, he came pretty close to a long, fatal drop. Sounds like everyone is ok though.

There's a thread on one of the 4wheel boards - the guy that was right behind him said the jeep was pretty much brand new, and I assume a new driver. I guess at this point in the trail, it's hard to see anything other than the hood, and he just let his left side walk up too high and flopped. Easy to critique from here, but I've caught myself in a dumb situation I should have known better than to get caught in before too. Plus it has to be hard to keep your eyes on the road with that trail and those views. Seems like every few years somebody rolls, and it's usually a more fatal result. Glad this guy and the passenger are ok.

Oh I've rolled a vehicle just as good being dumb before, and have even been in a similar situation. It's easy to see wanting to stay away from the edge.

I guarantee I have rolled vehicles over WAY more than anyone on this site, and even I say what in the hell was that idiot doing? That made no sense.

Trying to flex it out and ride the bank, me thinks. Some dummy was doing the same thing in a stock SR5 on the way down Mt. Herman Road (not even a wheeling trail, mind you) and rolled his ride. I yanked the truck away from the bank so we could flip it back over.

I think he was just trying to stay away from that edge (and understandably so!).
