The patient, who was not named, had traveled to Nigeria and upon returning was "presenting with symptoms that could be associated with Ebola," according to hospital spokeswoman Kerry-Ann Hamilton.

That's tough though, because there is a fine line between doing what is necessary to control the disease and going overboard with taking people's rights away. Now you could make the jump and say they are purposefully letting this get totally out of hand in order to control the population...however I have a very hard time seeing just exactly what that would accomplish especially if this is as deadly as has been claimed in the past. If they purposefully infect the population and 90% of the population dies, what is left to hold power over? I think if they wanted to grab power over the masses there are other more efficient ways of doing it other than domestic biological terrorism with a class 4 virus.

Are you kidding? The remaining 10% will be EXTREMELY easy for them to control. These are the same people that believe they can be made rich by destroying Capitalism.

Keep in mind that there are radical environmentalists that honestly believe that the human population needs to be massively reduced in order for their beloved earth goddess to survive, let alone thrive.

They don't kill off everyone, just the people who pose a threat. They can consolidate power better and faster with the opposition dead. A good place to start would be the history of Lenin, Stalin, Mao, etc, don't need to read too much to get the gist of it.
