It appears all over the news sites.
Here's one that speaks of both nurses and others receiving transfusions:

WHO PDF on how to do it:With no proven drugs to treat Ebola and experimental ones in short supply, the health authorities are planning to turn instead to a treatment that is walking around in the outbreak zone in West Africa.
That would be the blood of people who have been sickened by the Ebola virus but have since recovered. Their blood should contain antibodies that might help other patients fight off the infection.
The World Health Organization is making it a priority to try such convalescent blood or plasma, as it is called, and is talking with the affected countries about how to do it.

I just started to wonder, with that Kasi whatserface up in Maine refusing to abide by a quarantine, would a CCW be legally protected if they stopped the threat as she approached them? (I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but it does make you wonder...)
I would sure hate to kill someone because they ate some bad eggs benedict before going for their morning jog...
That's a crappy situation and I think the rules of fighting still apply:
1. De-escalate the situation
2. Escape the situation
3. If 1 and/or 2 is not possible, neutralize the threat(s).

"Woah, I guess that guy still had Ebola and wasn't all the way cured yet before we gave you that transfusion! Our bad!"
Since we've gotten so off track with all the election crap, lets bring things back on topic:
