What's wrong with the government doing that? Is there suddenly something wrong with preparing for something that potentially could endanger the lives of millions of people? That article (and articles like it) seem to assume that the entirety of the purchase would be for government use only. Who's to say they aren't buying these to give to hospitals and treatment centers? Fear mongering on any side of any issue bugs the ever loving shit out of me.
