Ummm....ignorant bastard! If you helped transport a person who died from Ebola, why in the hell would you hop on a friggin' plane the next day?

Funniest part about the news segment was Ebola Man's brother. He said, "He didn't have Ebola until after he visited the hospital and they gave him the medicine." So apparently, Dr. Denial thinks his brother got Ebola from taking the antibiotics the hospital gave him. It couldn't possibly have been his interaction with the girl who died from Ebola just before he left Liberia.

It's obvious that stupid runs deep in their genes.

I agree. It makes sense that Mr Duncan is just an idiot. That doesn't explain all the >98 IQ people he came across between Liberia and Texas.

I say we let nature take its course in these countries where it seems these diseases take hold so quickly.

I agree, sometimes we need to sit back and observe, this is one of those times. Let it burn itself out in Africa.

The thing that makes me shake my head about this particular outbreak/strain, and the seemingly low level of worry. Typically ebola pops un in Africa and wipes out a village or a small cluster population and goes dormant. The death count keeps rising and this strain keeps spreading.

Typically, you contract the disease go symptomatic and die fairly quickly or survive. This strain based on what I have seen from WHO people are living longer and providing more opportunity to spread the disease. This could get really bad, before it gets any better.

Sounds like the potential Ebola patient in Hawaii isn't even going to be tested for ebola. Health officials said he doesn't "meet the criteria" (even though he previously fit it enough to be admitted and monitored under infectious disease protocol). Don't know what changed, but ebola is no longer a worry in that case.
