Why is he sending the military to Africa, isn't that what the Peace Corps is for?

I wasn't able to record the webinar, but it will be available on the School of Public Health's website in a couple of days. Synopsis: The CDC is scrambling to get their shit together, now that this has become real. PPE requirements have gone from Gown and mask to spacesuit. A minimum NIOSH N95 or better respirator is recommended. New guidelines for disinfecting surfaces, hand disinfection between each stage of doffing PPE. It sounds like they are beginning to take this seriously, finally.

So basically the same PPE procedures the CDC has been using in their own ebola labs for decades...

... but Obama likes the good little Socialists in the Peace Corps. If he sends the military, he gets to drag down the operational military budget, look tough on TV, and maybe kill off a few people who are trained to think and provide for themselves.
