"I am a conservative. Quite possibly I am on the losing side; often I think so. Yet, out of a curious perversity I had rather lose with Socrates, let us say, than win with Lenin."

Yeah, if I didn't have access to the same safety precautions they use in the lab (BioHazard Level 4), I would be calling in sick too.

You don't need lever 4 safety precautions. Level 4 is an area where you are hooked up to an outside air source. Neither practical or cost effective for dealing with ebola.
Level 3 precautions is what they should be doing, as most are. HOWEVER doffing their PPE AND proper wearing of PPE including N-95's is where the problem lies.
I saw it in L3 facility i worked. During training, same people would do the same shit removing scrubs , hair net, their first layer of gloves. THEN look confused when the bio-safety trainer explained to them AGAIN why you remove outer gloves first.
IF everyone practiced proper hand washing there would be less issues when it came to common cold / flu season. Not to mention Hep alerts due to some untrained or uncaring employee NOT washing their hands after using the rest room, handling money, even their cell phone. Which all their friends have passed around looking at the latest selfie.

I know a handful of people in primary care and they've already informed their managers that they wont come in if Ebola pops up in Colorado.
