Nice.
I like it![]()
I watched this guys response and still have to ask the question of......were those students behind the guns? And why take the chance if you don't have to. Limit your exposure to danger and you'll probably live a tad bit longer. Was it absolutely necessary for this camera guy to be there. This was not a gun battle to were you might have to take shots near "innocent" non-involved are whatever you want to call them, people. It simply was not necessary.
Lots of back peddling in his video. Can anyone see his concern for going under? Very fidgety.
Yes, apparently those are students behind the guns and most likely civilians at that. Who knows how much previous training they had before that class, if any? And that's one of my biggest problems with this whole fiasco.
The other is as you alluded to: Are these video shots by Mr. Jay Gibson (one of their instructors, BTW) absolutely necessary?? You can't put that camera on a remote powered tripod? That is what it all boils down to. Those shots were completely unnecessary; technology could of solved that problem for you if you have to have those super cool shots.
He CEO OF TR (JY) rationalize and tries to explain the risk and etc.
I am NOT "increasing" the risk by driving a car on an average daily bases. Risk is still there.
However, I am increasing the "unnecessary" risk by try to cross the middle of I-25. Smart move would be to take the overpath to cross I-25.
That is total "Unncessary" risk. I would rather try to cross the middle of I-25 10times than that TR Photographer.
I think he's lost a lot of respect and business due to his "government swamp gas" answer as well as the fact that he makes himself and the school look like a bunch of idiots with a John Wayne complex.
