New to the Springs

Howdy, Gents, and any Ladies out there,
My family and I moved to CO Springs a couple months ago. I have spent time in CO in the past and have family here, so it's nice to finally settle. Looking to find a good church, places to shoot and ride dirt bikes. I am a lifetime shooter, have shot high-power NRA matches with M1. Definitely love to shoot flying things but still appreciate my toys with spirals in the barrel. Will be building an 80% rifle(s) for myself along with several coworkers. I am in plastic injection tooling so the machining is no prob. (Although, I would like to try the jig method just for giggles. Hand filing and fitting is kinda therapeutic to me since it takes the CNC or DRO out and lets me reconnect with my inner artisan!) I also do micro-TIG welding if someone occasionally needs something "melted together". I look forward to learning the fine points of the black rifle and tactfully contributing my knowledge every now and again.

Lol! Yup former New Yoiker,escaped about 3 years ago when the getting was good!
I am so glad I left when I did, but wish it was sooner though. Seems like ole Bloomstain followed me out here!!
See your a M1 shooter. I'll eventualy have mine finished and then I can get it back out shooting again, in the meantime the Smith Corona will have to do..
