I filtered out the 5-star reviews, and there was some good stuff in there.

Some of the 5-star reviews are fantastic. Don't limit yourself.

I always wondered what an M1 Garand would do to a book, and I have to say that this book fulfilled the role of an M1 target perfectly. It is just the right thickness to provide a decent stop for the power of a .30-06 round; the bullet still goes straight through it, BUT it also provides a sort of "explosion" effect, sending shards of paper everywhere...it was like a ticker tape parade in NYC after WWII...ya know, from back when the state and city had some balls and wasn't a bastion of communism and totalitarian control. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly support buying this book from your favorite local used bookstore when available for 25 cents; it's way cheaper than an exploding target and still provides most of the fun!

That was awesome. The little graphics that shows all the review scores is a perfect summary:

    5 Stars: 19
    4 Stars: 4
    3 Stars: 2
    2 Stars: 7
    1 Star: 535

    My Feedback

"I am a conservative. Quite possibly I am on the losing side; often I think so. Yet, out of a curious perversity I had rather lose with Socrates, let us say, than win with Lenin."

I should add: I think only 6 out of 19 "5 Star" reviews are honest reviews from Cuomo-lovers. The rest are all satire... some of them quite fantastic.

it merely is a historical hand job, ghost written and with possibly the worst cover photo in recent memory.

if you are an elitist prick that enjoys restricting rights of others, by passing legislation on the dark of night, setting aside state constitution in order make everyone "safe", this is the book for you!
