    Default Greetings from Colo Springs

    Howdy all!

    I'm new to the forums, but not new to the area or shooting. The reason I signed up here is to pick everyone's brain on a homebuilt AR platform. While the military has me well trained on the art of shooting and field stripping, I don't know the first thing about where to start when starting from scratch. Any insights you may have for me will be greatly appreciated.

    I have quite the armory established in my basement, fit with a rather spiffy reloading bench. I've been reloading for a few moons now and absolutely love the cost savings. You may see me shooting at Whistling Pines (east side) rather regularly, but I don't take the rifles too often.

    Anyway, I look forward to some witty banter and discussion as I abuse the search function on here.

    Figure out the what you want your rifle to do, and then pick out the parts. Ninja black rifle photo queen, truck gun, prairie poodle shooter or 3gun or other rifle match tool.
    I like sex, drugs and automatic weapons. That's why i'm a dues paying member of the Libertarian party. Struggling to keep the government away from messing with the above.
