I'm a big fan of Avery (despite it's location)... Some local brew pubs I've come to know and love recently are also pretty good, if you are ever in the Stapleton/Lowry area- there's the Copper Kettle, and Comrades. Despite Comrades logo being a hoppier version of the Soviet Communist symbol, they have a pretty decent selection of tasty libations.

Type III IPA is the best I think I've ever had. Or go with the Hemlock Double IPA if you have a pair.

We really like 4 Noses in Westminster. Great beer, priced good, great food trucks for food. Also, they allow dogs inside and on the patio. They have board games and other things for kids to play with. Saturday afternoons it's a great place to hang with the dog, wife and kids. Kids seem to introduce themselves to each other and have fun.
I'll have to look that place up, sounds fun.

Oh yeah there's Tommyknockers in Idaho Springs. Not the best but not bad beer, really good root beer, decent food.
Living the Dream off of Santa Fe and Highlands Ranch Parkway has some mighty tasty beer. Tend to be my go to place.
