USAF basic is all in your head..
be reasonably fit, be safe with a m16 (all two days I handled one), and be precise and focused..
when working on/around planes being precise and focused is key, cause that shit is dangerous.. (not quite the crazy flight deck of a carrier, but still not safe)
LOL I did not learn anything about tactical shooting while in the military, all just proficiency stuff...
basic:
qualified with m16 (shot it once)
flight status:
qualified with the S&W revolver (shot it once)
qualified with a xm177 (shot it once)
qualified with the M9 (shot it once) survival pack change.
