To some extent, that takes even more guts as she has to cross the field of fire. Not to take anything away from him but I'd have felt better about the situation Kevin Vickers had in Ottawa where he and the gunman were on opposite sides of the pillar because you have a chance to move in and hit before he can bring his firearm to bear.
