    First the bunnie rabbits chew $192 worth of wiring on the wife's car, then the bear snatches a window out of the house, next up voles eat all the garden. Well today I smelled something and popped my hood to find this. Sure glad it didn't catch fire.

    Looks like that dog learned a hard painfull lesson. I had no clue there were porkupines in Colorado.

    I'll trade you one yote for a porcupine.........we've got one running around here too, just saw him Wednesday night at the bottom of the hill.

    Last porcupine I saw in CO was around 1999 near Deckers. Was stuck in a net/goal on a soccer field. We freed him but not before he gave that net hell. Quills EVERY WHERE.

    Hope that dog learned something. But I suspect he will now have a blood feud with porcupines and will fight any he sees in the future. Lots of dogs seem to operate that way after getting their ass kicked by porcupines and skunks.

    Down at the scout camp outside of Elbert we were loaded with them.
