I had the opportunity to shoot a porcupine with the bow years ago. (Maybell CO along the Yampa) But then thought, what the heck am I going to do with it then?

Decided to watch him wander around. Cool critter.
Sometimes people trip and fall down stairs.
Sometimes assholes push people down stairs.
That doesn't mean "stairs are bad" nor does it make someone who pushes someone down the stairs any less of an asshole.

Hope that dog learned something. But I suspect he will now have a blood feud with porcupines and will fight any he sees in the future. Lots of dogs seem to operate that way after getting their ass kicked by porcupines and skunks.
They own boxers, not the smartest pups in the lot.

I hear ya. Until it becomes a problem enjoy the neighborhood, everyone with pets has been informed. Those with crappy fences, fix it or vet trip.

I watched the porcupine show at the Springs zoo, they are cute as hell, but ouch... hell no..

Raccoon, armadillo, or porcupine... better than wolverines or badgers..
