    I assume the new neighbors next door? If it was the stupid chocolate lab, next to the yellow house, that barked all day I would have been rooting for the porcupine.

    New ones. Interesting, she said she was going to knock on our door because she knew we had a gun to shoot it.

    Based on the locals we informed that owned dogs. Not one of them has ever seen a porcupine.
    Yes it can be a hassle since they hibernate. However i doubt i would shoot it unless it was in our yard, or someone else and the dogs had gotten hold of it. Not in the mood to kill something that's rarely seen, alive. Yet.
