Default Thread size for a 10/22?

Can anyone tell me what thread size is on a rugar 10/22 barrel end? Is it the same as a 5.56 barrel.
    Thanks

Should be 1/2x28".. At least thats what the breakdown is. And .22 cans are also the same

Length of threaded portion is different for rimfire than it is for centerfire. Cant remember off the top of my head. Just a bit shorter.

Dedicated 22 cans typically have proprietary configurations.
1/2 x 28 TPI RH is the diameter and pitch but the configuration of the threaded shank is where it gets tricky.
When I thread for a 22 can I always recommend that the customer either have the can in their possesion or definitely know what can they are going with.
