    Hastings Proper he says. ROFL

Know how I know you're from the big city? I lived in Nebraska for 18 years and never heard anyone refer to any town in the state as '[town] proper'. In Nebraska when you say Hastings people know WTF you're talking about. lol

I grew up in Nebraska. 18 years was enough. Not where I wanted to be any more, but Omaha has a hell of a standard of living. Get out in the boonies and you'll find some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

...and in case you guys haven't noticed, Colorado is loaded with freaks that should have been institutionalized or just plain locked in the basement.

...and if you think the I-70 drive is boring, try I-80 driving West out of Salt Lake City. The sign that says "Absolutely nothing 128 miles" isn't lying. Well... there's salt.

Born and raised in Hastings, they have a fantastic museum with lots of bang sticks and a now closed 'bone room' of indian artifacts.

Nice place but I'm glad I'm here!

Yeah, Tooele to Wendover is one huge salt flat. There is a reason people set land speed records out there

I do find Omaha amusing. Every time I pass through the radio is talking about traffic congestion, jams, whatever. I hit Omaha at 5:00 pm the other day and went straight through on I-80. Check out the picture of my speedometer. Try doing that in Denver at 5:00 in the afternoon.

Is that Cheetos dust on your speedometer?

I can't do that on I-70/I-25/US 36/I-76 between 4 and 6:30... Last time I drove through Omaha I hit traffic, it was a travesty! I had to slow 5 MPH for 2 miles! 2 MILES! Outrageous.
