I'm not sure why we have to remind the membership here at least quarterly, but once again I'll repeat myself and say:
THIS IS A FAMILY SITE!
Regardless of how you feel about the points the woman in the video were trying to make, that's no reason to sink down and act like knuckle-dragging yard apes.
Perhaps I gave the members of this site too much credit, but many of the comments I read here were crude, tasteless and crass.
I don't always agree with all of his positions and thoughts, but I will say that the one person I've always been able to count on here to behave like a gentleman who I'd be honored to introduce to my mother, wife and daughter is Chuck. His comment below is truly the only decent one I read in the entire thread.
I get it, most of the members here are men. Men with egos and testosterone who feel the need to publicly demonstrate their virility by acting like stereotypical penis-driven bohunks out of Brooklyn, NY. (no offense to those from Brooklyn - just using an available stereotype)
Well guys, I'm not saying we should start filling the place with potpourri or lace doilies, but I wish we have a LOT more ladies that participated in this site. I wish my wife and daughter (both AR owners) were members here. Am I the only one of us with specials ladies in our life that would like those ladies to know more about firearms? How many of you wish that the ladies in your lives knew some of the personal safety and security concepts discussed here?
I think that if we men could keep from scratching ourselves and acting like a bunch of sub-IQ construction workers, who feel the need to wolf-whistle at every woman who happens by, we might start to appeal to more ladies.
Now, if none of the above has appealed to your sensibilities, I don't care. Start acting like respectable gentlemen on your own, or the staff will help you.
