We took our family over to my parents house and hung out with my parents after taking our daughter to her very first movie at the theater. Up in 3d. Pretty great Father's day. I got to play tennis with my dad (he's been trying to talk me into playing for like 16 years now) and brother. Got to sit in their new hottub (which is broken every time I come over), and I got to finally do an outdoor run in my new running shoes.

My birthday is just a few days before Father's Day. So my wife turned my toilet into a throne by bejeweling my toilet and putting a crown in there. It was pretty funny.

Happy early Father's Day to all the Dad's out there. I never got to know my father and made it a point that the same thing would not happen with my son. My son was born in 1994, I was 24 years old. By the time I was 27 I was a single father raising my son on my own, his mother paid a monthly sum of $134 for support, funny thing is that it's the same amount today. I wouldn't trade it for anything. It was an honor to do my duty for my son, to stand tall and show him that I would always be by his side. We did the bachelor father son thing until I met my wife just 4 years ago. I now have a family of 5, my loving wife, my son, and my 2 daughters.....I AM SO BLESSED.

To all the Fathers out there I raise my glass to you!!
