I have a "candid" question ("candid" are one step removed from "dumb" questions): what is the best way to remove a stuck round like this one?

Usually, the bullet's stuck closer to breech/chamber than the muzzle, so removing it from the muzzle end, tapping towards the chamber is the way to go. Be sure to protect the muzzle, etc.
