Regular is what I like! This one is married blend and a hint of apricot. I think It's good but not better than the reg or Diamond Peak.

The Odell IPA paired perfectly with the smoked chicken thighs.

See the first post - this thread was scoped to the election results. Not sure why it was brought back up.

Home-aged Crown Royal. Google oak barrels limited. 2-liters of regular crown in a small oak barrel after 2.5 months on the soak starts to taste like XO.....getting closer to XR territory.

Nice! This seems worth the effort. I love crown.

It really is, but the waiting sucks. First batch of crown went 23 days and was amazing. Now im pushing 3 months on the second cask.....even better. Lots of oak and spice overtones. Even canadian mist and segrams, when aged, come out tasting like top shelf whiskey.

While smoking then grilling some ribs the wife prepped - cheap beer. After dinner and some dessert of home made German Chocolate cake and home made ice cream it will be Bulleit Rye.

    Festivities commence in one hour.

Rain postponed smoking/grilling. Time for some Bulleit.
