Subjective, but I still think the Springfield 1911's are the best for your money 1911's out there.

They're awfully nice...but I had the opportunity to fire a Magnum Research Desert Eagle 1911 .45 acp and I'm just smitten now. No room in my head for Springfields.

I didn't exactly partake in the same kind of therapy, but I did swing by BluCore this afternoon and pop off some rounds from the old P229. Therapy none the less! And like you, ZERO, I do feel a lot better... except for the one I pulled off silhouette by about 1/4 in. But hey, 159/160 on target is good enough day at the range.

I'm gonna run down there Sunday to play with this, the new Glock, and sight a rifle optic. If you want to shoot more stuff, we can go on a man-date.
