I'm forever finding pocket knives I forgot I had, mostly Spyderco and Kershaw stuff from the 80s and 90s...

Found a 30 round Ramline 10/22 mag I thought was long gone the other day too...

    Ha! I wish!

I stashed away a few mags along with some other gear (including a benchmade Griptillian, a nice Surefire light and some other fairly expensive goodies) in a duffle bag in 2008 and didn't find them until this spring. That bag (with the contents) made it through 4 moves, two of them across the country, without being opened. I was doing an inventory of everything I have and I thought to myself "I thought I had more mags than this..." which prompted me to find this bag and open it up. Needless to say, it was like opening a short-term time capsule. There was also a set of BDUs in there.

I found my 30 mm gg&g mount after replacing it. I'm this way at 30 years old, can't imagine what I will be like when I'm kazoos age.

It's ok, when you get to be Kazoo's age, you won't remember what it's like to ....hey, what were we talking about again?

I found a 500rd ammo can of 223 on my work bench in the garage a few days ago. I guess I pulled it out of the stash to shoot and then forgot and pulled another.

I keep finding the same 900rd case of 5.56...on the same shelf, of the same rack, in the same room...every couple of months. It is in a room that has nothing to do with firearms or ammo storage/maintenance/reloading, so I GUESS that's why it keeps slipping my mind.
I keep meaning to put it with my other 5.56/.223 ammo, but then I'd probably never find it again.
