I don't care if this is not with the crowd here. Those ROE are not out of line with any normal expectation. It is a way to not have a riot and specifically go after those that do. If you want to protect the 2nd so much, you have to be willing to protect the 1st. Freedom of speech is not limited to nice tea parties with pink cups. Sometimes they come when people are pissed. If the police feel they can escalate......... So can the people.... To everyones demise. Sometimes you have to let the pressure vent or risk causing the very thing you are trying to avoid.

These demands are not from the local senior center. This SHIT is from a bunch of FSA wanna be thugs who prefer to loot and burn their own neighborhood, in the name of JUSTICE. The parents of Saint Swisher demanded the officer who shot their young adult be sent to prison. Never mind a trial first. PRISON if their demand was not met, They would or could not be responsible for any violence that occurred So please do not say their ROE are not out of line with any normal expectation..
Had the parents and other not Threatened VIOLENCE / RIOTS then maybe review the demands and get back to them.
While i am a staunch supporter of the 1st amendment , threatening violence is not nor does not give them 1st amendment protection.

You feel that way go walk lock step with the folks of Ferguson.

I think the people of Ferguson who are not of the thug nature will agree with me in that the protesters have "vented" enough.

This will be more of a lynch mob, hell bent on destruction, than a "protest". They do have every right to protest. They do not have the right to hurt others nor destroy property. I personally do not advocate tying LE's hands with any kind of ROE's.

You're only 20 posts new but obviously understand what's going on in Ferguson already.

I have a pretty strong opinion of what's going on there.

Also, while I'm not really happy about the militarization of LE, I certainly don't expect any of them to go home with any injuries due to dealing with this nonsense.

Darren Wilson lost his life that day as well. He will never know the normalcy that he had with his friends and family that he did when he suited up for duty that morning. The MAN that he shot, very well may be better off than officer Wilson as Wilson will have to live in hiding for probably the rest of his life. Same for his family and friends. Plus, his career is over unless his balls are way bigger than mine. So he's financially screwed as well.

The subject of Ferguson brings heated debates on many issues this country is dealing with. I'm almost certain that this is the way the Dicktator likes it.

Sure are a lot of demands of the police, and nothing like "In exchange, we'll be peaceful" etc. Typical lib mindset, where "compromise" = "you give us everything we want and we give nothing."

No. Thugs and rioters DO NOT get to dictate police protocol, response, equipment used, bond amounts, etc... Police officers DO NOT need to be "tolerant" of "minor" things like throwing bottles...that could potentially present a lethal risk to officers and others. You are out of your freakin' mind if you think those demands are reasonable.

Anyone who thinks that is reasonable should probably be demonstrating with the thugs on the street. FFS.

I think some of them were pretty reasonable.... Like #1, #10, and #17. The rest of it is kind of funny. I'm glad we're almost a thousand miles away.
