Kind of glad today is a holiday and I don't have to work.

Not so bad out here this morning with no wind. Miserable last nite with wind. County roads were covered with black ice and treacherous, extra 45 mins to get home. Roads better this morning. Just a dusting of snow.

Everyone else driving doesn't know that. They'll ride their brakes through the driest roads, then spin out right in front of you.

I'm moderately disappointed in this. I should have ridden my motorcycle to work today, but figured it'd be slick in spots. There's the usual weather induced idiocy, but the roads were fine. If it's gonna be cold, I want snow measured in feet.

Yep. I saw this last night... I was about to go offroading to get around these fools, but then I would look like the dangerous one... :-P

We have about a half inch of snow this morning. And our front yard is full of tumbleweeds.

The roads were VERY slick this morning in northwest Loveland. I saw 2 accidents within 4 blocks of home.

Glad I don't have to be across town until noon tomorrow. Nothing is worse than driving across town in traffic AND bad weather.

Y'all can thank Tropical storm Nuri, apparently:

It was pushed up thru Alaska, and came back south all frozen... kinda had a warning this would be coming, but they didn't know for sure.
