I saw a documentary on Netflixs the other day about Stalingrad and the Russian vet was talking about how messed up these things were in that battle. It sounded like (from his account) the Germans were using a lot of them.
I wonder how that stuff would do against modern ceramic and plate armor? Probably shred your chin and neck with shrapnel...
