    I have a tall request, if there are any .223 reloading experts that would like to hang out and have a beer at my place( beers or whatever you poison it's on me), and straighten out me and my setup for reloading .223 for the AR. Am a "i need to see it to learn it" kinda guy. PM me if you are interested. Am on outskirts Boulder.

    It just seems the PPU Brass seems to need the die cranked down a little more and thus causing all the other brass to be under sized. And there is some "slop" in my Lyman turret press, the whole camming over thing.

    i took the head of my turret press off and took steps to remove the slop. my turret press is a Redding T7, so it probably has a different mechanism than yours.

    do you use a chamber gauge after you size the brass? that might tell the tale if your cases are getting worked too much.

    I do have a wilson case gauge, to get the PPU brass to work in my rifle I ran down the die till they fit the case gauge, but now am seeing that it over working all my other brass. I am going to toss the PPU brass in the scrap bin.

    Dont get hung up on the case gauge. It is nothing more than a guide. Size brass until it chambers in your rifle.

    Gauges are worthless unless they are made with the *exact* same reamer that was used to cut your chamber.

    Try adding touch more lube to your brass.

    If they're like my RG brass. Going from memory () this is an approximate weight difference.

    LC = 90 grns ~

    RG = 102 grns ~
