Stretch it a bit further and it sounds like pelosi supports voter id to make sure the person voting is the one who is supposed to be voting.

The vote has been cast as a kind of for-Pelosi v against-Pelosi battle. Pallone is supported by Whip Steny Hoyer, D-Maryland.
