Default V-22 Osprey just flew past my window

I've never seen one here in the Springs.

Get them regularly down here. Coming up out of Cannon AFB I think.

They've done CSAR demos at USAF Academy for the past few years, last one was a few weeks ago. Usually with a two flight of A-10s and some Pavehawks.

I've seen them around here a few times over the past few months.

He made three passes - 2nd pass in helicopter mode - sweet!
I work just West of Peterson AFB - get to see some cool stuff fly by my window on occasion.

I love watching these things. And the super stallion helicopters, those things are beasts

Saw one fly into Centennial a few weeks back. Was pretty impressive to see it coming in in landing mode (rotors tilted halfway vertical) while I was sitting at a stop light about 3/4 mile south of the runway. Loud bastards.

Nice flying machines, quirky and complex with lots of moving parts but, very cool!
