I ride a Road King sporadically. How sporadically? I just cleared 5000 miles on it and took possession in Dec 2004. I don't wear chaps or have any clothing that says Harley on it other than a couple of tee shirts. To me, it's a more comfortable horse that I don't have to worry about feeding and combing at the end of the ride and I really don't give a rat's butt what anyone thinks of it or me for riding it.

If i have to ride a rice burner, I want a real world version of this:

Any kamaaina my age should recognize it but for those who don't, see http://www.kamenrider.net/riderv3/hu...hurricane.html.

My second choice would be this:

Op needs an adventure touring bike. Bmw gs, Ktm xxxx adventure, vstrom etc. bust up the canyons, ride the dirt, whatever you want. Your skill level or willingness to push yourself is the only limit to the adventure.
