Hmm, reminds of me the Dirty Harry line about a man knowing his limitations. But what the fuck do I know, I've only been riding for 46 years (raced moto-x & flat track the first 6), have owned mulitples of most brands except BMW (1), Suzuki (none), Ducati (none). The answer is that there's no one motorcycle that does everything. As I've aged, with my bad knee and back, the style of bike I've ridden has changed. I sold my '99 Road King when it had 76k miles on it in '09, really miss the '07 Honda Sabre 1100 I had, it was fun and as reliable as one could hope. My '06 HD XL1200R was an awesome bike, the only thing is I ever did to it was new tires (outside of routine oil service).
I've had bad example of everything I owned and great ones. Get over it.
I am very happy with my Beemer GSA.
